Terms of use.
The agreement between you and Romby when you use Romby Reader, Pinup and this website.
- Your drawings are yours. We claim no rights to them.
- Check the numbers. Romby Reader helps you measure, but you're responsible for what you build, order or price from it.
- Early days. It's provided as it is while we keep improving it.
Using Romby Reader
By downloading the apps, using the web version or signing in to Pinup, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company and confirm you're allowed to.
Your files and markups
You keep every right to the drawings you open, the sets you pin up and the markups you make. When you pin a set up, you let us store it and show it to the members of the team you pinned it to. We do nothing else with it. Only pin up drawings you're allowed to share with that team.
Measurements, scales and prints
Romby Reader works out measurements from the scale set on each sheet and prints to the size you choose. A wrong scale, a drawing not drawn to scale, a printer that shrinks the page or a mistake on our side can all give wrong numbers. Before you rely on a measurement for construction, ordering, pricing or anything else that matters, check it against the dimensions on the drawings. Use the 3-inch bar on prints to check they came out at the right size.
Accounts and teams
Keep access to your email account safe, since it's how you sign in. Team owners and admins decide who joins a team and what each person may do, and are responsible for who they invite. Tell us if you think someone has used your account.
Fair use
Please don't:
- Use Romby Reader to break the law or someone else's rights.
- Try to get into accounts, teams or sets that aren't yours, or get around Pinup's limits.
- Overload, attack or copy the service.
We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why when we can.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are coming. Their prices and terms will be shown before you pay anything, and nothing you use now will start charging without your agreement.
Updates and changes
The apps update themselves when a new version is out. We may add, change or remove features. If we stop offering Pinup, we'll give you reasonable notice to download your pinned sets first. Your own PDFs are never affected, since they're on your computer.
No warranty
Romby Reader is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, always available or fit for a particular purpose.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Romby isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses (such as lost profits, lost data, delays or the cost of rework) from using Romby Reader. In any case, our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.
Ending
You can stop using Romby Reader at any time and delete your account in the app. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app before an important change applies. If you keep using Romby Reader after that, you accept the new terms.
